Subject: Idling problem at certain RPM in '84 --> Computer?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

How likely is it that a problem where the engine won't idle at a certain RPM is the engine's computer? I.e., as soon as the idle speed is increased, something shuts down the fuel to the engine.

A mechanic at Bug and Hare listened to it and thought that it was the engine's computer, which would cost $700 to replace.

Thanks.

Justin
