I had a problem w/ the jets about a year ago - they would dribble sometimes, work fine or not al all other times. At first I suspected the pump, but I dropped the reservoir and disconnected the tube and the little guy squirted away quite merrily. It turned out that the little tube from the pump to the jets that comes up behind the headlights was getting pinched - I re-routed it slightly with some twist-ties and all was well. It seems that the pulse of water from the pump was moving the tube around - I don't know how it was in there before but it must have come loose - and a quirk of fate caused it to become constricted. I probably screwed something up the last time I replaced a headlight bulb. Just a thought on something else to check before removing the jets. Doug Fitz-Randolph Yarmouth, ME '90 Syncro |
