These tanks get brittle with age and I wouldn't recommend repairing it.  A
new tank with cap is only $29 from me so why take the chance on a repair that
could cause you thousands of dollars in engine repairs if it fails and causes
your engine to overheat when you can get a new tank for such a low price?
