About a week or two ago, one of the Rochester, NY, listees mentioned
Obies up in the north country of New York state.  I have an ad from last
year listing some Vanagon-related stuff for sale.  Here are some of the
highlights:
2 aircooled Vanagons with Type 4 parts packed inside
67 Camper $200
71 poptop $200
72 Camper, orange hardtop, $200
84 Vanagon $200
Rebuildable transaxles, cases and heads
12V gas heaters


Obies phone number is (315) 265-7467. There was lots of other stuff
mostly from the 70s regarding Type 2's, 3's, 4's, and a smattering of
water-cooled stuff, e.g. Sciroccos.   Hope this is of some interest to
NYS and Eastern Canadian listees.
