Has anyone tried to retrofit a BA6 from a vanagon into a 78? All my heat ducting is rotten. Can I install this heater and just take the inlet air from the cabin, and vent it into the cabin through what is left of the front ducts? Or does this thing 'need' to be run from the heater boxes?
