Subject: list vendors in general
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

A fellow list member had suggested that list vendors should respond off-list to requests for parts or services.

I am a lurker scanning the digest messages. I personally enjoy most of the responses from the vendors. I am curious where I can get some of the items and how much they cost. Frequently the vendors also provide some detail of how to install or use the item. I personally think the list vendors use good judgement in their responses to the list. Obviously it is good advertisement for them. On the other hand, This list member is deriving benefit from these advertisements. Certainly it is possible to go too far with these advertisements. As I have already said, I do not think this is the case at this time.

I am not the list administrator and thus will not make this decision. This is just my opinion. Take it or leave it. Have a nice day.
