my '88 has a sort of hard plastic insert, semi-chromy looking, which is
inserted into the outer center of the rubber gasket (at least on the f & b
windshield). I've always assumed that to remove the glass, you would first
remove this piece, which would make the gasket a lot less stiff. Comments?
