My wife cannot understand why this thing makes me
happy and I'm perfectly contempt washing, cleaning or
working on it.  Or looking for other stuff to buy for
it.

Yea! Right when Hillary is President! and pigs perform
aerobatics.  She just shakes her head and smiles (at
my vanagonism)  She cant believe that there are others
like me out there.

No problem getting the kids into it.  My kids love
waving at other VWs. (The wave is not as effective
when we are in the Subaru (wife's reliable vehicle))
I'm training them to recognize the year variance. They
can tell a Westy from passenger.
