Before I rip this thing off and so something stupid...can the cat be removed
and the muffler be directly to the header flange? It looks like these are
the same size on both ends. My concern is that the offset on the muffler
inlet my not get by the exhaust pipes. The muffler I have is a bosal from
the BD. The reason I'm asking is, I don't have an 11mm box end to remove the
cat-muffler bolts and a socket wont fit in there. I would just like to know
if anyone has tried this, it also looks like the hanger strap will still
work only farther out on the muffler. ( I haven't any inspections to be
concerned with)
