I have an 83 AC Vanagon 7 passenger. I just hooked up the oil temp sensor and I wish to know what a good stable temp for running freeways at 65 would be. The temp has shown about 260 in this speed range, ambient temp was about 85... Is this normal? The question arises after hauling butt for 50 miles at about 70. The motor started missing, dieing, and I pulled over to let it cool down. The oil temp sensor was not hooked up at the time so I don't know the actual engine temp. Thanks, tim o'brien ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com. |
