I might suggest Nawlins. Talk about a festive town. I am sure
that it will be rocking. Jazz, Blues, Dixieland, and my
favorite, Papa John. I also like the idea of a parking garage
with a high roof to pop the top when in an urban area. I have
camped in those in Europe when it was really cold and wet.

I'd vote for further south. I've seen a lot of news footage
over the years
of blizzard conditions in OK. Not a bad idea at all. I'd
suggest
Louisiana, Tejas, or N Mex. Realize that's a longer drive for
some of our
more northern folks, but probably a more pleasant experience for
all.
