I've also wondered about this before for other applications.....can anyone
answer with authority? Can other VW transaxle diffs have the ring/pinion
flipped for reverse configuration operation?(not turning it upside-down) I
have a 2.2 inline 5 cyl w/ auto trans that would scream in a bug/bus. I
always thought that if this could be done, it would HAVE been done by now,
and there wouldn't be so many adapter kits on the market..... any answers?
