In both of my manuals, the rear bump stop mount is described as mount for additional spring. Maybe that's what they meant? Also, that stuff they wrote about front diff locks were only offered to the Army?? I have front diff lock on my 8-seater Caravelle for pete's sake! Still, it is one D'cab to dream of.
