Here's a question: has anyone ever connected an (interior) thermostat to a BA6 gasoline heater? This would be in lieu of the cheerful green knob, so that the heater could keep the interior at a constant temp all night, rather than waking up every 45 min. to reset the timer... It seems like such a simple idea to me that it must have been tried before (hopefully without firey consequences). If you've done this or heard of anyone trying it, please let me know! I've also heard about the Canadian heater-timers and would like to know whether these can be readily installed in an American model and whether they work. Seems like they would tend to under- or overheat the vehicle if they go on every X minutes regardless of inside temp. Thanks, Jim Lost in chilly New Hampshire in an '84. ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Bid and sell for free at http://auctions.yahoo.com |
