A vanagon is a Type II - indeed, all VW vans are type II s, splitties, breadloafs, vanagons, maybe even eurovans :-).

The Type II list is the aircooled list for vanagons and breadloafs- that is its charter. You do not have to subscribe if you want to check messages, you can just ead it from the web pages; it does not have to fill up your mailbox!

The vintage bus, type II and vanagon lists are all born from the ur-vw bus list, the brainchild of Gerry Skerbitz at the University of Minnesota (to whom we all owe a debt of gratitude). I have an aircooled bus, plus two wasserboxer vanagons, and I wonder what Bill thinks is missing from the current selections that a Yahoo club will correct?

Nothing wrong with the Type II list, but a Vanagon is not a Type II. Also, a Yahoo club is not a list at all -- nothing in your mailbox.
