More south is more better. I don't live in Arizona because I like the cold. Campgrounds? We don't need no stinking campgrounds!! What we need is a flat spot, nice and big, and a few rented Porta-Johns. No big deal. I've put on a lot of events. I'll go to Texas if I have to, but Southern Arizona is really nice, and a lot closer to my house. One possibility -- the Lake Havasu, AZ club has a great spot, technically in a campground, but really an empty area right on the lake called the "overflow" area. A mile from the London Bridge, which is in Arizona now, and great weather in January. Having been to both Key West and S. Texas in January, I can say from experience that our weather is better.
