Subject: The Vanagon is a VW Bus (was Yahoo...)
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

That subject heading looks reasonable, yes?

I'm interested in getting the support of the list in referring to my Vanagon as a "VW Bus." (Note: 'support'!)

I'm kind of a purist and careful with language, and I know it's not a Classic VW Bus, and indeed maybe some hardcore breadloaf pilots might, somewhat legitimately, object -but so what: It drives like a bus (especially with the front wheels in BACK of the steering wheel) and it offers the VW Bus lifestyle, and, anyway , that's it's heritage -- VANagon notwithstanding.

Besides, I just want to call it that because it's cool.

(Ok, so its a square-shaped bus, but it's still a bus!)

Thanks

Tony
