VW Vans and elevated drive-on lifts do not mix.....
(most of you remember a few months ago, when a grease monkey at Jiffy pop
lowered my vanagon down on the lift - with the drivers door fully open,
catching it on the railing, and lifting the entire left front of the van a
foot off the platform by the drivers door, subsequently bending the hinges so
the door wouldnt close....)
