Subject: Carver Propane Furnace Information

I recently posted a little information on my recent trip to Germany.

While I was at the European RV show in Dusseldorf, I met with Tim Carver of Carver & Co. Engineers who makes the Carver P4 heater which I have been selling the last few years.

Carver has just been purchased by the Germany firm Truma and the future of the P4 is now in question. I just placed an order for 10 P4s, but this could be the last batch I ever receive.

Truma makes their own small furnace which is similar in size to the Carver P4, but is more efficient and more versatile. The only problem is that the Truma is more than twice the price of the Carver, and Truma will not export this heater to the US.

Carver says that they will continue to support the P4 and service it well into the future, but can't tell me yet if they will continue to manufacturer them. I'll keep the lists posted when I know more.

For installation instructions and specifications, please visit my web site.
