I'd vote for further south. I've seen a lot of news footage over the years
of blizzard conditions in OK. Not a bad idea at all. I'd suggest
Louisiana, Tejas, or N Mex. Realize that's a longer drive for some of our
more northern folks, but probably a more pleasant experience for all.
