I have a '90 V'gon GL and have changed out the oxy sensor and temp 2 sensor, but I'm still only getting 13 mpg. I have heard on this list about things regarding the AFM, but that has been mainly on older V'gons. Would this still apply to mine? If so what should I look for? Also, is there anywhere else I should look. I've have this mileage since I got the van/bus about 5 months ago. The heads were rebuilt about 3 months ago. Also, esp. when the engine is cold, I would give the accelerator steady pressure, the revs would go up to aroung 2000 or 2500 RPM, then drop to around 1500. At this point I would need to put the gas pedal almost on the floor to get the revs back up. Any ideas are appreciated. Sean B. '90 V'gon, "Happy Bus" |
