I've purchased a dual VDO sender for my '84GL and plan to use it along with the new late model instrument cluster(with tach) that I just purchased. A few questions: Would it make sense to add the second pressure pressure sender to the 1.9 engine so I can use the more elaborate pressure sensing/buzzer feature on the new instrument cluster? (I'd like to have the benefit of the more elaborate dual sender oil pressure warning system if its not to difficult.) Can the second oil pressure sender (0.9 bar) be mounted where it's located on the later 2.1 engine? (I haven't looked yet but I suspect there is no provision to mount it here on the 1.9L engine.) Would it make sense to "Tee" the 0.9 pressure sender in with the dual VDO sender at the standard location between the pushrod tubes? I need to extend or "remote" the connection to the head anyway because of the size of the dual sender and the space limitations between the pushrod tubes. Gary Gary McEachern, Reading Ma.
