Wrong! Vice versa! It´s the T3 version of the Type 2! We discussed that a dozen times in the german VW-Bus Forum. In Germany most dealers only understand T2 when ordering parts for the vanagon, because "T3" stands for type3 in their computers (the aircooled 1600 variant). You´d better say "T2", that is short for type2 in their computers, no matter how old your transporter is. Only few people know the type2 T3 as a "T3". But, the computer wants a "T4" when referring to a eurovan from ´92. As difficult here as in the states...
