I didn´t want to start a discussion whether a V8 is necessary or not...
And I was on this list already when last year´s discussion of the reverse
running tranny started.
I did not want to start it again.

In my first posting I just wanted to let you know that this conversion IS
POSSIBLE AND HAS BE DONE by a conversion company now...end of sentence.

And the tranny aspect: I did not GUESS or WONDER how it could work, I just
said that I have no idea of how this should work with my special
constellation...
In my postings I wanted to present facts, no discussions with "maybe it
works", "it works with other trannies" or else...

Sorry for making people upset and for no real vanagon content in this
posting...
