There was an 88 for sale on the Syncro list just by the end of last
week, in UK or Ireland! The seller is Malcolm White, I am forwarding his
message to you. I also reccomend the Syncro list, it can be found at
http://www.onelist.com This list is mostly a supplement to the regular
Vanagon list, and deals mostly with Syncro specific items, of course.

I'm in the process of buying another '88 Syncro Transporter and will
therefore have one for sale once I've moved my bits across i.e stereo
etc.
The 2 vans are of a very similar configuration. Spec as follows;

1988 Transporter Van (white) with side windows conversion (tinted).
1900cc
petrol engine (carb). Front and Rear Difflocks. Rear towbar. 5 seat
configuration with centre table. Fresh MOT. Taxed. 160k miles. Engine
changed at 120k. Recon gearbox fitted at 155k. All CV joints and VC
checked
out OK. Difflock servos cleaned and checked. Bodywork immaculate. Weber
carb
conversion. Recent headlining and curtain track. £4,250 sterling
available
first week of November.
