Gina,

I think mine may be a fouled up injector... Which I haven't checked yet or my cat?? ...And yes I have for months run INJECTOR CLEANER EVERY-OTHER TANK FILL. ;0) But last year when I was having this similar problem ... I ran the gambit trouble shooting this Van, none of my instructors wanted to even touch it. Eventually, I changed the TEMP2 SENSOR. WOW instant mileage improvement!! Doubled the next fill up. If you haven't done that I'd certainly give it a try. There is an OHM test you can do if you have a multi-meter. Enclosed it an attachment with more info that may help you, too...

Through all my trials with this van I changed the fuel filter, Plugs, wires, dist.cap & rotor, hose of the AFM. and the O2 sensor (twice), I CAREFULLY popped the cap off the AFM and sprayed electronic cleaner on the wiper blade IN the AFM (Which I posted to the list, I didn't know my van could jump a stop sign like a sports car and was quite impressed my the results.) I also sprayed electronic cleaner directly on the throttle control valve to remove layered gunk that made it's home in the connections which would not let the spring action respond properly... I added DI-ELECTRIC GEL to all contacts that were either grounds or connectors, in the engine compartment and in the dash. I use a chamois type applicator for electronics. Regular Q-tips can work too, but they are abrasive in delicate work. Did I mention I had to replace the water pump? ....lol... That's about it.

So in fear of missing something obvious I asked the list for suggestions... :0) They're a good bunch of people that are willing to help those who ask...

Well Gina I hope this helps... Debi
