Subject: Eurovan Engine Fire Update
Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi all,

Its been awhile since I have posted about my trials and tribulations with my 93 EV engine fire...so here's a short update.

As you might recall I sent a letter and fax of to VWoA's CEO. A couple of days later I received a rather apologetic call from VWoA. During the call the person from VWoA said that they would be looking into my problem. A few days later I faxed them a copy of the damage estimate and other materials.

On Thursday I got a call saying VWoA will be sending someone from their headquarters to look at my EV.

I noticed on another website (VWvortex?) that the 93 Passats have just been recalled because of a similar fuel leak problem....could the EV be next?

Ric
