Subject: Scary Virus alert: SubSeven 2.0 Server
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

To all, I found a remote-control virus on my PC, while doing other maintenance. It is a fairly recent one (Oct. 4, 99), and probably detected only due to latest update of virus signatures.

I really don't know how I got it, certainly not from running an executable from some unknown person via email. I have been loading some shareware FTP programs, but none of them triggered the alert.

I'll scan the system tonight; let you know more if found.

Here's the poop about SubSeven 2.0 Server at the following URL:

Later,

Ron Antaki
