Subject: upper bunk is moving around!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-Ascii"

Volks,

OK, I can hear all the jokes starting already! Yes, I remember the suggestion to use the jack to stop the van from rockin'..... ;-) This, however, is not the problem (darn it!).

My upper bunk always shifts forward when it is flipped back and stowed and I'm driving down the road. The problem is that the hardware in the pivot is rubbing against the fibreglass top and is rubbing nasty holes into the top. I've tried everything and I'm sure that I'm getting it back into position properly. I assume it shifts forward whenever I hit the brakes.

Anybody ever have this problem? If not, anybody got any brilliant ideas to stop this before I wear holes clean through the top?

TIA Jim
