My top bunk (when folded) has been creeping forward as you described every since the van was new. It's probably moving due to vibrations created by driving. I've been simply tucking a cloth into the space between the ceiling and the folded bunk to snug things up and prevent the bunk from chafing against the ceiling.

My upper bunk always shifts forward when it is flipped back and stowed and I'm driving down the road. The problem is that the hardware in the pivot is rubbing against the fibreglass top and is rubbing nasty holes into the top Anybody ever have this problem? If not, anybody got any brilliant ideas to stop this before I wear holes clean through the top?
