Need more data. Belt glazed, tatered, loose????? How many miles on the alturnator????? When you spray the belt with Mystery Oyl does the screeeeching become moaning and groaning??????

If you have been taking excellent care of this vehicle it will come apart as you pull into the driveway. If not, it will attack you while your trying to pull off the ferry and the state will fine you for the delay to everybody behind you, including the next load waiting to board, and that ferry will be three states away from the nearest honest mechanic and four states away from home. Middlin care and maintenance???? Somewhere in between.
