Due to a relocation to an area of the world devoid of Vanagons (and the necessity of buying another home there) we may be offering our beloved Klaus for sale to a good home. The particulars:

1989 GL Syncro Campmobile A/C, PS, PB, PW, Central Locking, AM/FM Cassette (aftermarket). Factory Alloy wheels. Engine replaced with genuine VW unit approx 40,000 miles ago. Have all receipts for every bit of work done for the last 10 years. Car has 198,000 miles total, but it looks and drives more like 40,000. California car.

EXTRAS: Dual gel cell auxiliary batteries, seat covers, rear bug screen. Fridge works beautifully on 120/12v/gas. VC checks out AOK with local Vanagon shop. Have custom Syncro springs on their way, and they will go with the car. New brakes, CV joints, Drive shaft replaced within the last year, many other items are new or like new.

Overall EXCELLENT condition, interior and exterior, new skylight, A/C, Canvas, etc. - This vehicle has been meticulously maintained over the years. We are the third owners, and have owned him since April. My friends all tease me about the condition I keep him in (I'm sure many can relate) My plan was to own him for the next 20 years, but alas, the thought of having a Syncro Westy in Dallas, TX seems too much of a shame to bear.

I have some high-res pix if anyone is interested - just p-mail me. I will probably be asking around $18,000 for him (firm). High blue book is $22,135. "Low" BB is around $17,000.
