No but they are a tight fit. I've never even heard of any significant amount of dirt accumulating there, nor have I heard of a poptop seal that had a lip there. Basically it's a non-problem as far as I'm concerned. Of course the poptop seal does have an insulation bulb toward the inside, but this does not appear to be what you're referring to.

They are for square headlights and cover both beams. If they discolor I have never heard of it from customers who have bought them over the years.

Yes, it's very bad. I am actively, and increasingly desparately, seeking more employees. Right now there are four of us (two part time) doing the work of seven or eight, having lost two employees after the summer. Until I get a couple more people on board, you may experience minor difficulty in getting through on the phone, and some orders may take about one day longer to ship than usual. I am interviewing people this weekend, so with any luck the situation will improve by next week. Meanwhile, if you know of anybody looking for a VW related job in the Philadelphia area, please send them my way!
