Subject: Early 70's Auto Transmission
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Greetings!

Don't know if appropriate to the list, I have a '90 Multi-Van and looking at an AUTOMATIC 73 camper fixer upper.

I have heard that the early 70s Automatic transmissions are somewhat unreliable. The motor is kaput at this time so I have no idea the condition of tranny at this time.

Anyone willing to share their experience/knowledge on this early model?

Thanks. Gregg
