Subject: Swapping Transmissions and corrosion qustions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi again, I have a 87' Wolfsberg 1/2 camper which has a standard 4 speed stick and a 88'' Wolfsberg with an automatic. I know its crazy but I'm interested in swapping the transmissions between the two. I've looked at the Bentley and I've crawled under both vans and it looks possible mechanically. I'm not sure about the electrical. Is the harness on the auto separate and easily transferable? Are there other considerations I'm not thinking about? On the radiator cooling fan motor housing, what are the two, what appear to be, 1/2 inch hose barbs coming out the back? Also, since some people think that electrolysis might be playing a role in the corrosion on the engine heads, can anyone confirm that the radiator is well grounded? If so, where so we can inspect the connection. Thanks again,

Kevin Dawson 87' Wolfsberg 1/2 camper
