Hello all, Lately, I've been having the motor in my 1990 2.1L GL randomely cut out. The motor doesn't cut out completely, but "coughs" and somehow continues running. This problem is more severe with low RPM (even when the engine is warm). At high speed it hardly happens. I can drive 400Km with this problem lurking by, so it's hard to tell what's causing it (hard to repeat or diagnose). From what I've caught from listening to the list, it might be a fuel injection system problem or bad electrical connections/grounding points. Maybe something else too. Can somebody help me isolate the problem (i.e. give me physical locations of possible problematic electrical junction boxes, diagnosing the fuel injection system,.etc.)? If this subject has been beaten to death on this list, then maybe a pointer to the archives might be a better idea. TIA, Amnon ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=1 |
