Forget towing! I just had to transport my "88GL with a blown engine from Clinton, OK to Birmingham, AL. Did the thing by renting a 14 ft U-Haul truck and a U-haul auto-transport trailer, loading the van on the trailer and hauling butt.!! Handled well. It's the only way to fly!!!
