It took awhile but I finally got word back from Bosch. This questio got bounced around alot (they CC'd me each time they had to forward it to somebody because they didn't know). So now they've verified what I read on: http://minimopar.simplenet.com/oilfilterstudy-german.html Its starting to look alot like most filters for our cars are made by Champion labs. Then after that Fram (they make Canadian tire filters and some other house brands for other parts stores), and lastly Wix makes filters for us. No real german filters...sniff sniff..sniff...;-) Forwarded by Dominique Cormann <ml@kozmik.guelph.on.ca> ---------------- Original message follows ---------------- From: "Salinas Jaime (RBCA/ASA)" <Jaime.Salinas@pcm.bosch.com> To: "'ml@kozmik.guelph.on.ca'" <ml@kozmik.guelph.on.ca> Date: Fri, 22 Oct 1999 09:08:38 -0500 Subject: Filters -- The Bosch filters that are available in Canada are made by champion labs and they met or exceed OEM and Bosch requirements.
