ALL New Beetles are assembled in Mexico, no matter if they are sold in USA, Germany, Japan or the North Pole! There has been some rumours of a production line at Wolfsburg, but so far, there has been no need for it. The car is too expensive over here. (2,0 starting at $32000 at the local dealer)
