Power steering?  Then it's probably the pump.  Try  to avoid turning the
steering wheel to  full lock.  A few  hair's bredths away from full lock
the noise should subside.

I haven't got any manuals with be, and I have neither yet been there nor
done that, but I'd expect some  valve or switch to be somewhere to sense
full lock of the steering wheel and to prevent the pump from building up
too much pressure.

I hope  this helps.   And if  I  don't forget I  will  look up the power
steering details over the weekend at home.
