Subject: (Hopefully) one last brake thread
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I'm just taking a quick survey to see if I did something wrong in my brake job or if I just (due to ignorance) used the wrong pads/shoes.

First of all, when I bled the system, there was enough pressure to pop the clear tube off the bleeder bottle I was using when attached to all 4 wheels. Second, when braking I get somloud squeeking from the rear wheels and when I get out of the V'gon I can smell my front brakes rather strongly.

the brake job was done about 2k miles ago. Due some of the other brake threads I have read here, I know I have to change out my rear shoes (they are no-names), but should I also replace the fronts, which are PBR's, with VW or Pagid pads?

Any P-mails on this would be great.
