Good Day,

A week ago, Walt, another list member, and myself, were having fun playing around dismantalling his parts Syncro. I was in the proccess of removing the control for the lock axle and ran into the dellema(sP). The entire control unit was captive to the dash by the little round knob that is stuck on the valve itself. OK, after playing long enough I managed to remove the thing without breaking anything but this knob was still holding the entire control for the lock axle captive. Let see who on the list is really the top mechanic out there, and knows how It finnally came off,.....without breaking anything? Hint: this is a typical VW design, where it is simple but hidden.
