Most likely a broken wire in the rubber sheath between the door and the body. I've seen this problem many times. Pull the rubber loose from the body end, compress it back toward the door as much as you can, and you will find one or more wires broken. Start with the driver's-side door. You may need to drop the fuse panel down in order to reach the end of the rubber more easily.
