John, In Canada, on our '86 Syncro Westfalia, the RHS (passenger) mirror came with flat surface . I have subsequently checked with a Canadian VW dealer (OWASCO) only to find that their microfiche shows only a convex RHS mirror. ???

I wonder if the LHS (driver) mirror will in fact fit the RHS. Has anyone else examined this possibility?

What comes out of South Africa for the RHS (drivers) mirror? Anyone checked into this? -Larry
