I havn´t spoken to this company (yet!), but I guess they changed front/rear prices of those Porsche brakes in their ad. I know the brakes from the Audi RS2 and the rear ones are MUCH more complicated to install on a vanagon. For the front brakes you only need a new hub to use the rotors (like my oettinger brakes) and an adapter to fit the calipers. For the rear brakes, you need a complete new hub-housing with mounting points for the calipers. Second, to use the handbrake, the rotor has a brake drum installed in it (like BMWs have). Many parts --> high prices...

If only I could mount calipers on my vanagon´s rear! Then I would use the brakes from my old Audi 100, the calipers are directly engaged by the handbrake, no "drum-in-a-rotor". Would be cheaper and I could use parts that I already have!

Raimund P.S: Porsche brakes need Porsche wheels (130mm bolt pattern)!
