I've been away for awhile so I don't know if Canadian members know this, but the MXT's are not officially available in Canada, or at least weren't in July. I spoke to a rep at Michelin Canada and asked if they could bring me in 4 from the States. He explained that they did not usually bring in tires from lines they don't carry, because their tires have a road hazard warranty, and if one should be damaged, they wouldn't have any more in the country to replace it with. I begged, pleaded, begged, and pleaded some more. He spoke to the manager and got authorization to bring in 4 in for me. I did eventually get them, and they are great. Cost me $133.00 Canadian per tire.

Hi all, Having just bought a set of Michelin MXT, I thought it might be helpful to post the complete sidewall info as the Michelin techs won't even have this information to give out if you call them. Please note that the MXT is currently a limited release tire from Michelin, that is their stock is so low that they are rationing them out 4 to a customer. Tire Rack wants $91 and Discount Tire Direct gets $75. I found that Costco members can get mounting and lifetime balance for $7/tire for new tires that you bring them that they don't carry. Here is a link listing all the tire Manufactures in the world for those of you who are research hounds. Rubber & Plastics News

Hope this info is helpful to those seeking new rubber.
