Subject: Canvas: Cotton or "Sunbrella" ??
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I'm considering new canvas for my '89 Westy Syncro. There's been a lot of posts in this group about the wonderful absorption, expansion qualities of the original canvas.

Some have purchased replacement canvas from Bus Depot which has canvas made of "Sunbrella" which is a treated synthetic material. I doubt if it "absorbs and expands" as the original.

Does anyone have any comments or experience with this new Sunbrella fabric or "canvas"(cotton or synthetic) from other sources.

I would also like to know the size of the side windows from anyone with the three window replacements (bottom length and length from bottom to highest point).

Warren C. '89 Syncro Westy
