Subject: Stove Burner Flame Problem 82 Wesfalia
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Strange occurrance. I went to use the stove in my 82 Westfalia which I have not used in three months or so. I have been running the refer on propane pretty continuously for the last two weeks. The rear or left burner (which I tried first) produced a very large lazy yellow flame that was 6"-8" tall fed by all the jets but producing one large flame. I immediatly shut down, and puzzled, tried it agin with the same results. Next, I tried the front, or right, burner - and got the usual results: a series of small blue 1" flames standing nearly straight out from the burner like a usual gas stove. I am assuming this is a pressure thing with the left burner. Hss anyone else had this effect? The only additional piece of information that I can offer is that I forgot I was running the refer and tok the van out and drove around Seattle for most of the day with the refer on propane (oops - hadn't done that before), but I can't imagine how that would cause the burner to act that way, and not effect the entire system.

TIA Adam
