No this is not about the musical group :) (the sound of a hundred delete keys being hit at once!)

A short word of advice about list posts. One of my teachers in High School first introduced me to the K.I.S.S. principal and it has changed my life. I interpret this is in two ways: 1. Keep It Short and Sweet 2. Keep It Simple, Stupid! (stupid is referring to yourself).

Short and Sweet is the best way to post on this list or to really speak in general. People tend to be overwhelmed when someone posts a really long post with 50 questions in it and alot of times they don't even read it just skim it and then (since it has so many questions that they don't know where to begin) they wind up never answering it. So if you want your questions answered and your posts read, please keep it to a couple of questions at a time and think before you post. You will find you get more readers and less deleters.

Simple, Stupid is the way to respond to a person's post who asks a question. Any idiot can take something simple and make it complicated and confusing but it takes a wise person to take the complicated and make it simple. When you post an answer keep it simple and to the point. Ask yourself, if this person has no mechanical background at all will they understand what I am trying to say?

I have to quit now before I break my own rules. This is just a Friday Food For Thought post and is in no way aimed at anyone.
