Mine too. (90 Carat) I don't know if the D.P.O. ever used it, but I have to use a claw hammer to pry out the lower right corner to get it loose. Then I have to slam it shut to re-engage. I have tried lubricating the catch mechanism through the hole, but it doesn't work. I think I like the velcro idea! Michael Townsend
